What food can do

Digestion, hydration, coat and breath

What our recipes do, and what depends on other things. Every guide lists its sources.

Digestion

Real meat as the first ingredient, a single animal protein and few ingredients, steam-cooked in their own pouch: a recipe that's easy to digest. Gas also depends on how you switch food: do it over 7-10 days.

Hydration

Our recipes are 66-77% water. In a 2025 study, dogs fed a wet food with 71% water took in 141% of their minimum water requirement in total, against 102% on kibble.

Coat

Every recipe is a complete food: animal protein (10.6-12.9 g per 100 g), the natural fats of the meat and a vitamin and mineral supplement, the nutrients skin and coat are made of.

Breath

No preservatives, no colourings, no meat meals. But for breath the toothbrush does the real work: the cause is almost always the mouth, not the bowl.
